Welcome CISCO Students
The World Organization of Webmasters (WOW), working with industry and education, has developed the Certified Professional Webmaster (CPW) program. The Certified Web Design Associate and Apprentice (CWDSA) certification is part of the CPW program. So Cisco students continue below to sign up for the Certified Web Design Associate or Apprentice (CWDSA) exams.
* Please note: The first level of certifications is the Certified Web Designer Apprentice. This exam measures a fundamental skill level for those individuals studying and working to become Web professionals. Associate level exams are the same exams offered for the Apprentice level. If you pass the exam at 50% you rank as an Apprentice. If your test score is 70% or higher automatically gives you an Associate level certification .
WOW is pleased to announce that effective October 15th 2003 WOW will be offering a substantial discount to Cisco students and instructors on the retail price of the WOW CWDSA.
Registration Process Information
- Step 1: Complete the order form by providing the information. Please note: WOW delivers exams in partnership with public libraries nationwide. Please see a list of libraries in your area that you prefer to be tested at by searching PublicLibraries.com
- Step 2: When you register below you will be billed the special Cisco price of $75 and you will be asked to enter your credit card information to pay for this.
- Step 3: Select the exam you want to take. (Cisco courses map to the CWDSA exam).
- Step 4: We will contact you Within 24 hours you will receive an e-mail from WOW confirming your location, your preferred testing center location and the best dates and times for you to sit for the exam.

- Step 6: Upon completion of your registration WOW will contact with the authorized testing center in your area that works the best for you and will arrange for exam delivery. WOW will provide you with a designated contact including contact information and hours of operation. Please note that WOW exams are paper exams.
- Step 7: Once the authorized testing center has contacted and the designated contact is identified WOW will contact you by e-mail to confirm the location date and the date and time to sit for your WOW exam.
- Step 8: Proper Identification is required. Once you have received confirmation of the location and date and time to sit for the WOW exam you are required to show identification to the designated contact the time you take the exam. If you're not able to provide proper (ID with Photo) identification, you will be asked to contact WOW to reschedule. If you're not able to take the exam at your scheduled time please contact Bill at bill@joinwow.org as soon as possible.
- Step 9: Once the exam has been completed the designated testing center representative will sign the exam that he/she as verified your ID and has time stamped (allowing you up to 60 minutes to take the exam) and proctored the exam the authorized testing center will return the completed exam to WOW typically within 1-2 business days.
- Step 10: Upon receipt of the exam WOW will evaluate the results and contacts you with the results. Please note that if you pass the exam at the rate of 50% or better your designation will be an Apprentice. If you pass the exam at the rate of 70% or better your designation will be an Associate.
- Step 11: Upon successful completion of the WOW exam at a rate of 50% or higher WOW will send you a certificate by U.S. mail. Please allow up to 14 days for delivery.
